A little early for a throwback, but this one was too good to wait. Check out a 14 year old Lance Stephenson taking it to OJ Mayo at an ABCD camp back in the day. Mayo, a good few years older, refused to take it and ended up giving it to him.
Jacob Norman is a Senior at Evansville Reitz HS, made the defender pay with this one, as he catches the oop off the glass and sends the guy flying for the poster!
Check out footage that has surfaced of a 16 year old Kobe Bryant coming up clutch in a high school playoff game. Bryant scored 29 of his 35 in the second half to lead Lower Merion High School to a big win over Norristown.
6’2″ Kwe’Shaun Parker showing that he is the HIGHEST jumper in High School right now! Wow.
Here is high schooler, Kwe Parker, showing off his AMAZING vertical at the Jordan XX9 release Dunk Contest in Las Vegas – best dunker in HS?
After announcing last week that he would skip playing college basketball at Southern Methodist to turn pro, heralded recruit Emmanuel Mudiay has reportedly reached an agreement with the Guangdong Southern Tigers in the China Basketball Association worth $1.2m for a year.
Mudiay, a projected lottery pick in the 2015 NBA draft, is the most notable player to turn pro straight out of high school instead of going to college since Brandon Jennings who headed to Italy in 2008 instead of suiting up for Arizona.
“He’ll be able to athletically overwhelm other players in China, but the key with him will be socially,” a coach who was previously in China told ESPN.com. “That won’t be easy.”
The 6-foot-5 Mudiay was considered a one-and-done possibility at SMU and also a potential No. 1 pick in the 2015 NBA draft.
Crossover of the day is brought to you by Rolando Hill who shakes and freezes his defender with the cross before knocking down the jumper from the top of the key!
