8th Grader Justin Galea is Nice With It! Class of 2019

Justin Galea is next up in New Jersey, the Class of 2019 Basketball prospect dominated at the John Lucas Camp Right Way in Philly.

Check him out in this mix from City League Hoops.

The 8th grader is an extremely gifted ball handler and passer. While Galea has a flair for the dramatic, his game has style and substance. Justin is strongest when improvising and playing in transition, but his game is suited to a half court style as well.

    • Trial of ex-NFL star Hernandez interrupted by bomb threat
      Thu, 26 Mar 2015 17:45:12 -0400
By Daniel Lovering FALL RIVER, Mass. (Reuters) - A bomb scare interrupted the murder trial of ex-NFL star Aaron Hernandez on Thursday, forcing dozens of people including the judge, attorneys, reporters and Hernandez himself out of the courthouse for two hours. Hernandez, 25, is charged with fatally shooting semi-professional football player Odin Lloyd in an industrial park near his house in June 2013. On Thursday, Associate Justice Susan Garsh ruled that parts of phone conversations the former New England Patriots player had from jail after his arrest could be admitted as evidence, despite defense team claims they were irrelevant. Jurors were moved to a building across the street from the courthouse and Hernandez was placed in a secured prison van.

(Reuters) - With next month's Masters in mind, Graeme McDowell withdrew from the opening round of the Texas Open in San Antonio after nine holes on Thursday because of a nagging left ankle injury. The Northern Irishman was five over par after battling strong gusting winds at the TPC San Antonio when he told his playing partners Dustin Johnson and Jim Furyk that he was pulling out of the PGA Tour event. "Apologies to everyone at @valerotxopen for my withdrawal," McDowell, whose only major victory came at the 2010 U.S. Open, tweeted.
    • Congressman asks pro sports leagues about their tax-exempt status
      Thu, 26 Mar 2015 17:15:35 -0400
Utah Republican Congressman Jason Chaffetz has sent a letter to the NFL and nine other professional sports organizations seeking information about their tax-exempt status, his office said on Thursday. Chaffetz, chairman of the House Oversight Committee, recently introduced legislation to eliminate tax-exempt status for professional leagues with revenues exceeding $10 million. Section 501(c)(6) of the Internal Revenue Code lists "professional football leagues" as deserving of tax-exempt status, a remnant of legislative wrangling that helped the NFL and its rival, the American Football League, merge in 1966.
